Overview
Postboard helps users create, schedule, and publish social media content to connected Instagram professional accounts. LinkedIn support is in development and is not currently active. We collect only the information needed to authenticate accounts, prepare posts, and publish scheduled content.
Information We Store
When you connect an Instagram account, we store the Instagram account ID, username, account display name, access token, and token expiry date. We store access tokens so Postboard can publish scheduled content on your behalf after you have explicitly connected the account.
We also store draft and scheduled post data, including captions, hashtags, selected platform, scheduled time, media URLs, publishing status, and any publishing error messages needed to troubleshoot failed posts.
Media Uploads
Uploaded images and videos are used only to preview, resize, schedule, and publish your selected posts. Images may be stored in Supabase Storage. Videos may be stored in Cloudflare R2. Published media may be deleted from Postboard storage after the platform has processed the post, while the published copy remains hosted by the social platform.
How We Use Data
We use account data and access tokens to connect accounts, display connected account names, publish scheduled posts, refresh tokens when supported, and show publishing results. We do not sell personal data.
Disconnecting Accounts
You can disconnect a social account from the Settings page. Disconnecting removes the account from active use in Postboard. Scheduled posts for that account may fail after disconnection because Postboard no longer has permission to publish them.
Data Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of your account data, connected social account data, and stored media by following the instructions on the Data Deletion page.
Contact
For privacy or deletion requests, contact the Postboard administrator using the support contact provided to your beta account.
